MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) is a widely used cryptographic hash function. It produces a 128-bit digest value regardless of the size of the input data. Although originally designed as a cryptographic hash function, MD5 has been widely used in various fields.
During user registration, their password is taken and encrypted with MD5 and written to the database. When the user wants to log in to the system, they enter their password. The password entered by the user is converted to MD5 and compared with the password in the database. If the MD5 codes are the same, the system login is provided.
